코로나는 여전히 기승이지만 세계는 느리지만 서서히 정상적인 일상생활로 돌아가려고 노력중입니다. WFDF도 마찬가지 입니다. 그 일환으로 내년 4월, 그리고 내년 7월에 각각 세계비치얼티밋챔피언십(WBUC), 그리고 세계클럽얼티밋챔피언십(WUCC)이 미국에서 열립니다.
저희도 이 두 대회에 팀을 보내고자 합니다. 현재 출국, 입국에 대한 방역규칙 등이 불확실하고, 새롭게 책정될 여행수칙 등도 어떻게 바뀔지 예측하기 어렵지만 대회는 성공적으로 열릴것이라 보고있고, 저희도 참가 할 수 있으면 팀을 보내려고 합니다.
WUCC는 한국의 내셔널 우승팀이 출전 자격을 얻습니다. 그렇기에 쿠파의 가장 최근 내셔널 대회의 우승팀인 백호에게 출전권이 주어집니다. 어려운 상황이지만 출전의사를 보인 백호에게 감사드립니다.
WBUC는 대표팀 성격으로, 쿠파에서 자체적으로 선발할 예정입니다.

현재도 계속 지속되고 있는 판데믹 상황과 추가적으로 발생하는 변이 바이러스로 인해 내년 4월의 방역/여행 수칙이 어떻게 바뀔지 예상하지 못하고 있는 상황입니다. WFDF가 대회 자체를 계속 가져갈 수 있는지도 의문인 상황입니다. 취소가 될수도 있기에 KUPA는 우선적으로 참가비용을 내지않을 것입니다. 저희는 지속적으로 WFDF와 커뮤니케이션을 가져가면서 대회의 진행 여부를 계속해서 업데이트 받고, 여러분에게도 공유 드리겠습니다. 참가 신청하시는 분들은 이러한 부분 유의 부탁드립니다.

장소: 미국 캘리포니아 헌팅턴 비치 (LA 근처)
참가 인원: 5v5 비치 얼티밋, 최대 15명 출전. 모이는 선수 기준으로 믹스/오픈/우먼스 참가 예정

This announcement is about upcoming WFDF tournaments for 2022.
WFDF is hosting the World Beach Ultimate Championships (WBUC, April 2-9), and the World Ultimate Club Championships (WUCC, July 23-30) in the United States.
Albeit travel restrictions being uncertain, we as a member nation of WFDF is trying to send teams to both tournaments. For WUCC, club national champions are eligible to participate. For this tournament, our most recent champion team Baekho will get the bid.
For WUBC, Korea will try to send a single team to compete. We are able to request bids for mixed, women's, and men's division teams for this event, which we would fill through a national player selection process. Please indicate your interest in playing for one of these teams by Dec 23rd, to help inform our bid request.
With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the outbreak of new variants, it remains unclear what global travel policies will look like by April of 2022, as well as whether it will be feasible for WFDF to go forward with the event. KUPA will not be able to commit any fees towards the event until and unless there is player commitment to those fees, and the attendant cancellation risks. We will remain in contact with WFDF about the event feasibility, fees, and cancellation policy, while we look to secure bids for the teams we are able to field.
