KUPA 조직│KUPA Organization

한국 얼티밋 선수 협회(KUPA)는 대한민국 얼티밋의 공식 관리 기구로서 2005년부터 국제 올림픽 위원회(IOC)가 인정하는 세계 플라잉 디스크 연맹(WFDF)의 회원입니다. KUPA는 전국 클럽 내셔널 챔피언십 대회, 썸머 쇼다운, 코리안 컵(K-CUP) 등 국내 대회를 개최하고, WFDF 에서 개최하는 아시아/월드 클럽 챔피언십 대회 및 챔피언십 대회에 출전하는 대표팀을 선발합니다. KUPA는 대회 개최 및 출전 외에도 국내 얼티밋의 발전과 보급을 위해 얼티밋 규칙 및 SOTG 교육을 진행하는 한편, 국내 얼티밋 리그 및 클리닉을 후원하고 있습니다.

Korea Ultimate Players Association is the official managing body of Ultimate Frisbee in the Republic of Korea (South Korea). Since 2005, we are proud members of the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), which is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).  KUPA hosts various domestic tournaments including the National Club Championship, Summer Showdown, Korean Cup (K-CUP). KUPA holds the official competition to select the representing team for WFDF-hosted Asia and World Club Championship tournaments. In addition to hosting tournaments, KUPA organizes events to educate players of the rules and the Spirit of the Game. We also support local leagues and provide clinics throughout South Korea.
